Artist's Statement

I continue to be fascinated by the diverse nature and unique qualities of glass as a medium of expression. I am equally engaged by the blowing process and the endless cold working possibilities, in a personal bid to capture the beauty of the natural world in glass.

I have finally attained the freedom to concentrate on my cameo work, mainly but not exclusively depicting nature scenes of flowers, birds and animals. I find this most fulfilling as it gives me the chance to combine technique with artistic expression.
