Erode Triptych I
By Ruth Lyne
A set of three wall panels inspired by the colours and textures of the coast.
The panels are produced by fusing metal leaf, foils and powdered glass within or on the surface of sheets of clear glass. They are fired in a kiln to temperatures of over 800 degrees which causes the metals to change in colour and texture. They combine with the softened glass creating a permanent image.
Each panel 23cm x 45 cm overall size 75cm x 45cm.
Hung using a metal rail which is screwed to the wall and a matching one is fixed to the back of the glass.
